I had an interview with a nice small firm the other day (but not shit law - almost all lawyers are from HYS and T20).
two people interviewed me. I said I was looking for an internship only. They did not normally ask for references for internships but they mentioned that they would like to ask for references in my case (with an indication that this could turn permanent but no promise about it)
at the end of the interview the partner said that they will contact me in a few days.
I jotted a quick email stressing my interest. I guess he could almost sense the eagerness and a bit of stress in my tone.
He replied to me immediately saying that they expect they would work out something with me.
should I check back "in a few days"?
