While no one is tracking employment rates for lawyers with professional experience, interviews with more than 30 law professors, admissions officers, law students, recent graduates and hiring partners at law firms confirm that professional experience has grown more important in the weak economy.
Wow, 30 whole people?!

While an actual study would probably confirm this articles suppositions... what fluff nonsense is this?

They didn't just interview people off the street, they interviewed decisionmakers at the hiring level and other relevant stakeholders. Do you think the study is inconclusive or do you actually disagree that WE is undervalued?

They included law students in their 30. It's not a "study" at all.

I think it might be undervalued... though as a Northwestern student, I only really know people with WE. Some people on this board have claimed it can hurt (if it's too PI-related). It's an interesting question, but this article doesn't really answer the question.
