Converting a summer to fall internship

Post by LawIdiot86 » Tue Nov 15, 2011 5:51 pm

I'm a median law student at a T-14. Struck out at OCI, but secured a federal job for next summer. In theory I could do a split summer, but it would be difficult (I'm a JD/LLM, so I'll also be studying for the bar). I still have a number of agencies and small firms to hear from that I would be interested in working for as a fall intern. When in the process should I tell them that I am no longer looking for a summer job and want a fall job? I'm interning at an agency now and managed to convince another agency to move my opening to the spring after they offered it to me as it would have conflicted, but I don't know if summer to term moves are possible.
