USAO Eastern/Southern District of California
Anyone have experience externing / interning / volunteering at either of these USAOs? Is it safe to guess that they are marginally less competitive than the Northern District or Central District? If so, what was the application process like?

I met a few of the past summers interns for the Southern District, and from what I heard it is very competitive. They seem to be very open geographically though, as the interns were from law schools all over the country. My guess is that all of California's Districts are very competitive.

For internships, The E.D. is less competitive then the others. Within the district Fresno is also less competitive then Sacramento.
