I seriously think you misunderstand how LinkedIn works. If oyu met someone, its legit to add them. Doesn't mean an offer.NinerFan wrote:IMO it'd be pretty weird for them to add you and then ding you, so I'd see it as an optimistic sign. No guarantee of anything, of course, but certainly better than total silence from them.
Then again, he/she may have just liked you enough to want to keep in touch, though this would be kinda odd.
That's a fair analysis. My reasoning was that these attorneys probably meet/interview a ton of people. Heck, a person who screened me at OCI clearly had no idea who I was when I popped in to say hello during my CB. Unless OP really stood out, is clearly going places, or they have positive news for OP, it's kinda weird to add them on linked-in. At least, it hasn't happened to anyone I know.c3pO4 wrote:I seriously think you misunderstand how LinkedIn works. If oyu met someone, its legit to add them. I think that says a lot more than the LI add. Probably means they want to share the sample with someone else, i.e. they are selling you. You have a supporter in your corner.Anonymous User wrote:ninerfan: thanks for the vote of confidence! the interviewer requested a second writing sample from me, too. confused, but keeping my fingers crossed.NinerFan wrote:That's a fair analysis.
