2L summer internship: Prosecutor's offices in SoCal

I sent applications to USAO-CDCA, USAO-SDCA, District Attorney's Office (LA), and City Attorney's Office (LA) in mid-October. Has anyone else also applied and heard back anything?

Just a question, but does the CDCA take apps from 1Ls??

[OP:] Yes they do. I have a friend who applied to and got an offer there last summer as a 1L (ended up working in a different USAO in CA).

Thank you for this. When do they start taking apps from 1Ls? Is it 12/1?

I am the second anon poster. Got a call today asking for grades when they come out. Is this a good sign? Seeing as it seems they don't want to interview me just yet, I'm guessing it really means nothing.
[edit] the competition last year for summer was 333:1. So yeah, it definitely means nothing.

I sent my snail mail app in mid-November and got a response about a week later.

Checking back in...
LA DA's office told me they wouldn't even start looking at summer applications until February.

Applied to DA, CA, and CD. Heard back from the latter 2, back to back interviews coming up. Also interviewed with Ventura DA.
