Academic performance contingency in offer letter....

As has been stated in at least one thread here, Dewey has a performance contingency in their offer letters (to what you've shown the firm so far).

How serious is this contingency? If you drop below your current performance at all are you screwed out of your summer position and (potentially) subsequent offer?

So you're asking whether a firm that gives offers to 100% of its summer class no-offers those whose GPAs drop at all? Seriously?

The offer letter's language makes the summer offer itself contingent upon maintenance of the same academic achievement. So the above poster is asking if people have gotten their summer offers revoked before 2L summer because of poor 2L grades. Anyone have any insight? Is this language new this year?
