Divorce Law, Median at T2?

I really want to do divorce law. The amusing stories and crazy clients seem like a lifetime of paid entertainment to me. How plausible is it to get into divorce law being median at a T2?

OP seems flame but I legitimately wonder this. I know someone who is planning on going into family law in general but I have no concept of what that career path looks like.

From what I've encountered most family law firms are usually small local firms.
I would get involved in an appropriate clinic at your school, if there is one and go talk to your CSO to see if there are alum who are part of any family law firms. For something like family law, I would think connections matter a lot more than grades.
You could also talk to your CSO about going solo right out of school but that is probably a huge risk.

Very doable, though you might have to start doing legal aid family work. I know a number of practitioners in the area. They didn't make much to start out with, but if you get good at it and get a name for doing the work, you can eventually start to work on divorces where big $ is involved...and that's when you can start to make 6 figures.
