Considering take a job at a V50 but I"ll be in the IP department for sure. I have a moderate science background and was hoping to go in-house one day in a health/life science company. Would IP work be helpful for that?
What other options would I have if I get into IP? Thanks

I have found that just about any background is good for trolling.

are you comparing the IP offer to an offer to join a different practice group in another firm? is so, what is it?

General litigation, probably more financial stuff.
The IP group mostly deals with technology and there is not much (if any) life science work. That's why I wonder if it would still be practical for in-house at a science company. I see most of the in-house positions at big life science companies like compliance/regulatory work.
