Applying for a second job fair screener?

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Sep 17, 2011 6:53 pm

I had a screener in August with a federal entity that, as far as I know, has not contacted anyone with offers or dings yet. My interview went well but could've been quite a bit better. They're going to have an interviewer at another job fair that I'm attending in October, and I'm tempted to apply for another interview. If I did, I guess I'd need to straight-up tell them in the cover letter that I already had a screener.

But anyway, I'm very hesitant because I'm afraid it's not kosher. If I'm in the ding pile from last time anyway, it couldn't hurt, but for all I know, I'm still in the running. I might hear something before the job fair but the deadline for interviews is imminent. Opinions appreciated.

Sounds bizarre. This is like applying to McDonalds, getting an interview, not hearing from them, and then applying to the same McDonalds again. Use common sense.
