How does MoFo in NYC stack up to firms like Sidley NYC and Cahill?

I can't say with a high degree of certainty, but it seems to be a bit smaller of a presence. Not someone I really think about when I think about the NY market. Not saying they're bad by any means, just don't really come across them. If you like the people and/or you think you may want to be in CA long term probably a fine place to go

Interviewed there last week. Found it to be a very cool place with a lot of cool associates, but it's hard to put them up over some of the bigger powerhouses in NYC if I got an offer, even though I really want to.

Any former SAs or current associates out there with a take?
