I'm doing an afternoon callback at Paul Weiss next week (starting at 4:30PM). Has anyone done one of these and, if so, is the format any different from a normal callback?

No, I haven't heard about that. I did an afternoon 2 pm callback early last week & got an offer a few days later. I interviewed w/ 2 partners & 2 associates, half hour each w/ no lunch. I assume yours will be just like mine.

OP here -- thanks. I just re-read the bit on the intro page to the scheduling website, and it said that it starts with an "orientation" with recruitment personnel and associates. Does anyone know what that entails?

nothing really. they sit you in a conference room with 20 other candidates. give a short 5 min talk, then recuritiers lead pple to interviewers. really nothing to worry about it.
