For those who transferred in undergrad, what is your opinion of the proper resume convention:

Do you put both transfer and degree granting undergrad, or do you only put your degree granting undergrad? Does it matter how long you spent at the transfer undergrad?

I've always been of the impression that you need only list degree granting schools once you have achieved the degree in question.

EDIT: I just found this http://www.law.berkeley.edu/1145.htm, which may help. Boalt is on the degree granting institution side of the fence.

Just the degree-granting institution. Anything else would be irrelevant.

show non-degree granting institution if it supports geographic ties to the region you are interested in.

IE: DC School -> Transferred to Boston School -> seeking job in DC.

I put both but I'm not sure if it's been a good idea. I've been asked in almost every interview about why I transferred. I doubt it's a strong negative but anything that questions commitment probably should go looking back in hindsight.
