Are most DE firms still doing CBs?

Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
they may be, but it's pretty late. if they are, they are probably doing them for the next week or two at the most. can't hurt to call and see if they're still looking to fill their class. i would try MNAT, RLF, and Potter Anderson. Maybe Young Conaway, too. I wouldn't bother with Skadden or Connolly Bove at this stage though.

Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
Still waiting on Blank Rome a month after doing my CB. Given that I'm entirely striking out in Philly, I just want to see if I can add to my Philly rejection pile. Wasting time making trips down there was a dumb idea in hindsight, since the trend is so clear (i.e. success in NY, but nothing in Philly due to lack of close ties)

From Potter Anderson this am:
Good Morning xx,
Thank you for renewing your interest in our firm. Our recruiting committee is still going through the fall recruiting process and your application remains under consideration. I wish (as others do) that we had a better handle of our time frame but quite often it is out of our control. We will make every attempt to be in touch with candidates in the next few weeks.
Best,
xx

Is this following up on a screener or a CB?Anonymous User wrote:From Potter Anderson this am:

Struck the fuck out. The last firm I was interviewing with decided to cancel the program instead of offering me the job (they were only taking one). T2 Philly 15%, secondary, strong ties. FML.

Has anyone heard anything recently from Skadden or RLF in DE? Or recently withdrawn from either?

I got rejected from Skadden around two weeks ago. I'm still waiting on MNAT and RLF. I think they have mostly filled their classes and are waiting to hear what happens with the rest of the offers they've already given out.Anonymous User wrote:Has anyone heard anything recently from Skadden or RLF in DE? Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
I know this has been brought up before but people with offers should remain active and tell the others... Otherwise these threads are limited in their value. E.g., did no one on this thread really not get a Potter offer? I know a few of us are still waiting on them so would be good to get some perspective.
Also, just generally, if you have multiple offers... Make a decision so someone else can have some hope. I know you may not owe it to anyone, but the sooner the better.
Sorry for the rant - hopefully as hear stuff today.. Anyone know of anyone still hiring in PHL?

Re: Philly Callback/Offer Thread
Havent been real active on these boards, but I turned down a potter offer ~3 weeks ago. From what I can tell they were scheduling additional callbacks before I turned it down. Besides that, and whats been posted in this thread, I dont know anything else about their class.
My guess would be they have their offers tied up and are just waiting to hear back. Im sure you already know this but everyone i talked to about DE firms said they take a long time finishing up their summer class.
