Mailing Q: Paper or Email?

I've had CBs already, but for insurance I am going to keep mailing, even to markets where I have no ties.

Is a transcript, writing, and resume by email enough? I noticed at my interviews that they all had a printed copy of my materials out, so I am wondering if the snail-mail deal is unnecessary.

Absolutely 100% do it by email. It will get there faster, is easier to copy and forward, takes up less space, etc. Every HR person or recruiter I spoke with said just to email materials.
