Williams and Con. Got offer unusually fast (apparently they haven't finished with CBs yet) because I was in DC for personal reasons when I got the CB invite and I mentioned that I was currently in DC so they had me come in the next morning (yesterday) and I got the offer today.

... had to borrow a DC friend's suit for the CB. 42R is a kinda universal suit size... I think I'm going to accept the offer so its funny to think that my legal career will have been launched from a borrowed Lord and Taylor brand suit.

If the suit had been from Men's Warehouse, your accomplishment would've been more preftigious.

I have 3 V5's and a bunch of DC firms coming up. The offer in hand is just a safety to turn down other CBs. I got 15+ CBs from EIP.

W&C gave out callbacks on Monday. Plus no one would out themselves like this because only 1 or 2 people get offers from W&C from CLS and everyone would know who you are.

W&C gave out callbacks on Monday. The earliest they start interviewing is next week. Plus no one would out themselves like this because only 1 or 2 people get offers from W&C from CLS and everyone would know who you are.

I don't know why I got the CB offer when I did (Tuesday and I called about possibility of doing an earlier CB on Wednesday) and I interviewed when I did because I happened to be in DC. And I just accepted the offer.

Since EIP finished on Tuesday, how were you able to interview for S&C NY and be in DC both Wednesday and Thursday for W&C?

One CB on Wednesday and I went to DC that night (found out on Tuesday about somewhat urgent personal matter that required me to be in DC on short notice), did W&C CB on Thursday. And third CB was Videocall early Thursday morning.

Did anyone get an offer from the Cravath interview today??? I know some people got offers on the spot last week. I, of course, did not get one today. I am hoping it's just different for Saturday callbacks.

For people who have offers this early, assuming most of them have been same-day or on the spot: what do you do about thank-you notes? I generally always send them but my interviewers all know I walked away with an offer and am now thinking about it, so I'd feel awkward either acknowledging that or not. Also I met with 8 attorneys (partners & associates, interviews/informal meals) and 2 recruiting staff so that's a lot of thank-you's.

I got a CB from W&C Monday and wanted to schedule my CB on Friday and they said they weren't taking any callbacks last week. The earliest you could schedule was this upcoming week. Our friend here is a liar.
