What exactly is reimbursable for callbacks? If I need to take a cab to the airport in my current city to fly to my callback, can I submit that receipt? Also, if I'm in a city for several days and I want to take cabs around town just to get from point A to point B (i.e. not to get to a firm's office) is that reimbursable as well? Thanks!

they should give you a document detailing their policy. it will probably use words that indicate you have discretion, but should be moderate in spending their money. respond as if they were judging you based on how you responded to that.

Cab to airport is likely fine, not quite as sure about the cabs around town.

Either way, submit and see what happens. Unless it's a tiny/cheap firm, what you submit won't be held against you (and the people making hiring decisions aren't likely to even know what you submitted).

Generally, all transportation for the interview is reimbursable (cabs to/from airport, hotel, and firm), but cabs for sightseeing probably shouldn't be submitted. All food is normally reimbursable (assuming three meals/day, aim for <$15 for breakfast, <$25 for lunch and <$40 for dinner). Main thing to do though is just double-check with the firm before you go.
