Choosing a writing sample for OCI

The standard choice is the final exam legal writing brief, but my write on comment might be a little bit better. Is there a downside to going with the write on comment? Note that my grades are well above the hiring median for every firm (in the context of my school), and so I suspect that my writing sample can only hurt me.

Most write-on competitions use abridged or modified cases and texts that don't reflect the actual original. At least at NYU, our packet contained a disclaimer that we had to go back and verify all of the sources and citations ourselves if we wanted to use the write-on as a writing sample.
I would go with the legal writing class sample. It's safe.

OP, I'm thinking of doing this too. My final brief just wasn't that good, and I don't have time to clean it up. I'd have go back and reread cases
