Can we start a list of these please? The only one I've heard of is Covington.

This is not true. I had a couple of firms ask for a reference list at the screener (I forget which)Anonymous User wrote:Covington is the only one who requests references at the screener stage, so they're the only ones with references to call before a callback. They're like Cravath and the UG transcript (except Covington actually makes use of the references).
Munger Tolles asked for references. I did 5 screeners last week - heard from them all re: callbacks except Munger. I'm hoping it's because they're checking my references, but could also be that a ding is coming in the mail.Anonymous User wrote:This is not true. Additionally some firms ask you send them a reference list prior to the callback. (Cleary and A&P did)
