Who has received a callback from this season's OCI? How many days later did you receive your call(s) (call, email, mail, etc). If willing, list your class rank.

I received all my callbacks on the spot right after my OCI interview.

So far all NY ones were within 24-48 hours

I doubt all, but one firm does this to at least some people.

Top 10% at lower T1. My CBs so far have come within 1-3 days of screener. All 7 are V50s. Three V20s.

Likewise, my official rejections came within 1-2 days of screener. Both = V30s.

So with OCI, you also receive rejections - not just a "no response"? So far I have heard from one firm and it was withing 24 hours of my interview. Top 10 % and from the highest ranked school in the area.

Same stats - 6 callbacks in NY (1 V10, 3 V50, 1 V100, 1 lit boutique) -- all within 1-2 days. Official rejections came within 1-3 days as well (V50s). However, I have firms that are at 2-4 days+ with no word yet.

One rejection came via e-mail. The other by letter. I imagine some will never get back to me (e.g., Skadden, with whom I interviewed on Tuesday). But I'm used to it. As it happens, I'm still waiting to hear from dozens of federal & state judges about my 1L summer applications.

Bottom line, if you don't hear something within 1-2 weeks, at most, of the screener, then I'd wager that you're not getting a CB. Also, I would NOT contact a firm you still haven't heard from. I think it can only hurt your chances.

Just for some info on Skadden, I received a rejection in the mail 3 days after the screener. Hand signed by my interviewer.

My first CB came three days after the screener.

All 10 of my screeners were for Orange County offices. First callback was the night of the screener, first rejection was Friday (2 days after screener). Haven't heard back from the other 8. Do OC offices usually take longer?

Got CB day after OCI interview. (Though # of other interviews haven't heard either way). Heard others got their rejections from this same firm the day after the OCI interview as well.

EDIT: CB came via phone call.

May I ask who you heard back from and where the ding was from? I had a bunch of OC screens this past week as well and have heard back from zero of them.

Any Ohio callbacks yet? Interesting that some schools still haven't completed OCI and they won't occur for 2 to 3 more weeks. I wonder how that affects OCI callbacks.

Rejection was from McDermott Will Emery (only interview I could sense wasn't clicking with the interviewer.) I don't want to say who the callback was from because the OC offices give so few that it might out me. I was invited to and had dinner with attorneys from two of the firms on Monday and Tuesday, but haven't heard from either of them yet. I thought dinner went really well . . .

CBs came 1-2 days after the screeners. Calls on Fri, Sat for Wed/Thurs. interviews. No word from the Friday interviews. 6 CBs. 2 V10s, 2 V20s, 2 V30s.
