Anyone hear of any 3Ls getting an offer out of 3L EIP callbacks or mass-mailing? Even rumors would be nice. Thanks.

If you post non-anon, I will PM you.

2L w/ STB here. They do actually do both. And you get a hardcopy of the letter that they e-mail you.

Haven't heard from STB either way. Wonder if I'm in a hold.

Rejected after Paul Weiss callback (corporate).

Edit: I didn't have a 2L SA position, so maybe that hurt.

For those who have been successful during 3L EIP, what do you think helped most?

2L SA at a reputable place? Stellar 2L grades? Really relevant 2L courses? Looking for corp only?

As far as success in scoring callbacks, I'd say having stellar 2L grades really helped (high Stone, not just Stone) in my case. Relevant 2L courses? Not so much: I only took 2-3 courses that would fall into that category.

Since many of the firms (e.g. PW, DPW, STB, Cleary etc.) are looking to expand their corporate group, it seemed useful to emphasize one's interest in corporate work.

Does anyone really know what has "helped them"? It's not like the firms tell you why they wanted you. That said - I was high Kent (above 3.9) and hard push for litigation. 2 Offers so far - 3 more CBs...

Has any 3L gotten an offer from Cleary this year?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
