is it ok to say "your firm" or "your office" in a cover letter?

I do, but that doesn't mean it's right.

Haha, I thought it was going to be a your/you're or your/ur sort of thing.
But to answer the question, I definitely do it and think it sounds much better than awkwardly repeating the name. Some firms are pretty awkward to type out even the "shorthand" -- the "X & Y" firms in particular (though SulCrom is supposedly acceptable - I don't write K&E, V&E or B&M, for example). Original Poster's MMV (or YMMV, as I prefer)
