NYLS sued by graduates for lying about employment stats

Its about time! We can only hope this leads to more law suits against bottom-feeder schools like NYLS and Cooley (also sued). If enough of these suits are filed and get beyond dismissal and/or MSJ, the Law school industry will have to react and start to a) report accurate employment data; and b) show that the price of education does not equal the product that is being sold.
So good luck to the plaintiffs. They have a tough road ahead. Few institutions are as well funded as law schools and the law schools will surely put up a defense that will make a tobacco executive nostalgic.

"Cooley, based in Lansing, Michigan, accused the law firm of false statements on websites to “incite” the readers and to “troll” for plaintiffs for a purported class-action lawsuit."
This made me lol

So because the law firm did it via craigslist, etc., instead of with expensive commercials on late night TV, they are "trolling?" It should take a court all of 18 minutes to dismiss those claims. How absurd?

Interesting lawsuits....if they are successful, I wonder if we'll see someone bold and attack a T15 school....if there were a willing lawyer I know I'd join the class.
