Yesterday I decided to cold email and alumni at the firm I'm scheduled to have an interview with. (She not only went to my law school but also my UG) Then today I accessed the interviewer list and realized she is my interviewer....and in my email I did not mention that I have an interview lined up. Is this a serious mistake or no big deal? I'm a little freaked out, anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance.

Follow up. Be truthful and sincere. Tell her you did not realize until today that she is scheduled to be your interviewer at OCI, and that you look forward to meeting her then.

All in all, no big deal. You can even bring this up at an interview as a bit of an icebreaker to help your interviewer remember you afterward -- I don't see this being taken as a negative by anyone if it's a genuine mistake. As long as she doesn't think that you were trying to do this on purpose, I think you're fine, and a follow-up email of this kind goes a long way toward establishing your intentions.
