I got a misdemeanor for a reckless driving when I was 19 for driving 80+ on a freeway in VA (yeah, bs right? a freaking misdomeanor for driving over 80 on a freeway, but whatever). Is this something I should mention in my OCI interviews? Do employers even check for stuff like this?
Thanks for the advice

Don't bring attention to the negative, they don't give a shit about your misdemeanor. C&F on the other hand...

As an aside, VA interstates are kind of dumb. A number of them are 70mph, but over 80 is an auto-reckless driving ticket. So 10 mph over the limit = reckless driving.

Yes, bring it up first thing. Make a good first impression with your honesty......................are you serious? Why would you ever bring this up?????

You know what would blindside your interviewer? Your unsolicited confession that you are a convicted criminal. Wow. I hope you were kidding. I hope this wasn't a serious question.

And yes, they might check you out, but who cares? Even DUIs won't disqualify you from C&F or getting hired unless they are habitual. Tell them when / if they ask, but for the love of god, don't offer it up yourself.

C&F won't give a s--- about this either, so long as you disclose it and don't try to hide it.
See, Barbri, I *am* learning something from your MPRE outline....even if I do fail miserably tomorrow.
