hey, i have a call back style interview tom with Hughes Hubbard. first i didnt have a screening interview is that normal? second anyone have any advice/insight into the firm and their hiring practices? thanks so much

Congrats. Hughes Hubbard is a great firm and they've done well over the past few years (the Lehman bankruptcy work helped immensely I think). I've heard that Hughes Hubbard is very big on personality fit, so I recommend making the interview conversational if possible.

Which office are you interviewing with?

can I ask when they said they would get back to you or if they have already? I also did a cb with them

they told me end of august. not sure if thats because i bombed it or if just thats their policy. what did they tell you

They told me the same, yea I was wondering if that was their policy or I just wasn't a great candidate haha

I liked the firm a lot though I wonder what their cb:offer ratio is like

ya me too. i really liked it there. i would def accept if they gave me an offer.
