Re: Davis/Hastings OCI
To all the Hastings students, how many employers (mainly interested in Big Law and Mid Law) did you have show up to OCI?
I'm pretty damn disappointed in the showing at Davis. Apparently it's "up" from last years, but I'm still surprised at how few employers came.
It also sounds like Hastings had open sign-ups; how does that work, do you guys not have alternates?

Re: Davis/Hastings OCI
I think we probably had about 100-110 different employers come to OCI at Hastings. And no, we do not have alternates. The way it works here is that if someone drops their interview with a firm, any student can pick it up.

Might as well update to keep this thread going.Anonymous User wrote:This thread was interesting last year, so lets get it going again. Post where you went to school, class rank, number of bids, and number of interviews. If you get a callback, post that too. Other Northern California schools also feel free to post.
I'll start. Davis top 1/3. 25 bids, 4 interviews-3 midsize, 1 biglaw. Pretty much what I expected for round one, but I'm hoping the next rounds are better.
I got 1 callback out of my 4 first round interviews. Haven't heard from any of the others, but anticipating rejections on at least 2 of them. I thought the CB interview went really well though, so I'm optimistic.
In the second and third rounds, I got 4 more interviews, all at mid-size nor cal firms. I'm also an alternate to interview with a big firm in so cal.
Considering the fact that my grades aren't spectacular, I'm happy enough with how things have gone. I did a bit of mass mailing this weekend, so I'll see how that goes as well.
Good luck everyone. I hope to see some offers posted in here soon!
EDIT: just to add that none of the interviews were lottery.
