Put new school curve on resume?

I transferred from a t4 with a 2.5-2.7 curve, to a school ranked in the 60s with a 3.2 curve. I was in the top 40%, but my gpa is slightly below 3.0 because of my old schools tough curve. Should I signify this in any way on my resume or cover letter?

Why don't you just put "top 40%" after the GPA on your resume so they don't accidentally mistake you for a below median student at your new school. I don't think you need to mention GPA at all in cover letters.
