callback scheduling?

Post by Anonymous User » Sat Jul 30, 2011 8:44 am

Are callbacks only scheduled for during the week? Do they ever schedule them for weekends?

Weekdays only.

Besides, if there are enough people around the office on a Saturday to run callbacks, you may not want to be there anyway. :)

I'm not sure this is true - some firms have "Super Saturdays" where they bring in a whole bunch of candidates to interview on the same day. I know for a fact that Skadden NYC did that last year, and I think some other NYC firms are considering it this year. I think they have partners/associates come in just for these events, though, so I wouldn't look at it as a reflection of the amount of weekend work these firms do.

Fair enough. How about this:

In general, you should plan for callbacks being on weekdays.

Firms with weekend special events will let you know that's an option.
