Writing sample for OCIs

Sorry if this has been asked a lot, but I'm not finding the search engine here especially helpful. I'm trying to decide what to bring in as my writing sample for OCIs in a few weeks. I did 2 briefs second semester that I am considering using. On the first I got an A and I liked my arguments and I liked the second one less (I got a B+ and I didn't feel that I had very interesting arguments). The problem is that the first brief was like the warm-up one so we didn't do everything like the table of authorities, statement of the case, etc.

So should I:
A) Work on the first one a lot more should I work on my writing sample a lot and add these things.
B) Edit my 2nd one and use that.
C) Just edit my first one and not worry about not having things like the statement of the case.

Thanks for your help.

Use something you did over the summer.

You should always update your writing sample. I'm sure you're a better writer now than you were when you wrote either of those briefs.

I would use the second one, but take out the table of authorities, table of contents, anything else that's just a space waster and doesn't show off your legal writing abilities. Firms aren't really looking for interesting arguments. They're more interested in seeing whether or not you can write like a lawyer.
