International Placement

Other than A&O, Linklaters and the few other Magic Circle firms that interview at OCI at only the top schools, are there any other firms that would seriously consider a request to be placed overseas straight out of school, before even having passed the bar? Many big US firms seem to have European offices, but I wonder whether you have to "do time" in the US before getting an overseas assignment? Also, does corporate v litigation make a difference in how the request would be viewed?
