reaching out to UG alumni at target firm for 2L SA

I am seeking advice on what to say in an email to an alumni of my UG (small liberal arts school graduating ~600 students/yr, and a long way from all major legal markets) ive never met with the end purpose of seeking advice or assistance in securing an SA position with their firm.
Specifically, how formal and what to say in email? Do I need to say Dear Mr. X or can I say Dear first name, if they are relatively young?
include resume in introductory email?
what if they were in my fraternity/sorority at my UG, does that change any of the above?
for reference: I bid firm for OCI, my school is 100% lottery system (so interview not guaranteed, but if I dont get it I can maybe hustle for one at OCI), and I think I am a reasonably competitive candidate (top10% DNCG)
