T14, aiming for biglaw. My unofficial transcript comes in two flavors: with GPA or without. My GPA is 3.22 with two A-'s and one B-. Everything else was just Bs and B+'s. School median is B+. Should I have the GPA there?

3.2 is below median, but not that far below median. by omitting your gpa, an employer would assume you had a sub 3 gpa and were at the bottom of your class.

Similar gpa situation as OP, but at CLS where GPAs aren't published anyways. Should I manually calculate it and list it?

If law firms get your transcript anyway (and they will at OCI), calculating GPA is completely superfluous. They're not stupid-- they won't "assume your GPA is below 3.0" if you don't calculate it when they have your grades right in front of them...

check with your school whether you are even allowed to list your GPA. CLS, for example, won't let you.

sorry i didn't mean to post anonymous. it's somewhatwayward.

oops. sorry i misread. i thought for some reason you were talking about listing it on a resume. if it's a transcript, i agree with everyone else: having it restated there is superfluous.
