Please, no "killself" or drop out replies. I don't have any debt either. I fell below the median this year and I was wondering what I could do in order to land some type of firm job

Drop out, your chances of landing a firm job are zero either way.

You can try to network and really impress someone with your winning personality but even then the chances are quite low. That is if by firm you mean biglaw. Ask 3Ls and those who have graduated. What % do you think work at firms? I am sure you are aware of how few people do firm work from your school.

There's not much to do unless you have network connections. You could get a small leg up by doing better research on what firms exist, but market paying or big/medium sized firms with robust summer classes are all but out of the question.

Well if you don't have any debt then you could possibly continue your quest and shoot for some top paralegal jobs with the hopes of eventually getting an associate offer after some WE. I'm not totally sure on this but you might be able to pursue employment at some micro firms. I mean, for a third tier school Southwestern doesn't look like it's unbelievably easy to get into. You need like a 158 3.2 or something. Seems like you might still have a chance at something if you can bounce back and get your act together. If you graduate below median from this school though, I'm thinking you will have to go after a paralegal job (if you can get one).
