Top Law Schools

Title explains itself. I'm somewhat interested in mediation and ADR, but am wondering exactly what it takes to get into the field. Seems like a decent chunk of the mediators are former judges or magistrates, but a lot of them are just regular JDs. Best to go to biglaw or trial pracice for a few years first?

I remember an attorney who only did mediation spoke at my school last year. From what I remember, you need at least some litigation experience before you can realistically expect to practice in that field.
