Which firms hire bad interviewers?

I mean, it's not like being a good interviewer has anything to do with being a lawyer.
So which ones?

It depends what makes you a bad interviewer.

If you're super awkward, that absolutely does have to do with being a lawyer.

If you just suck at answering "tell me about something interesting you've read lately," I'd agree.

Ultimately, no one sets out to hire bad interviewers. I'm of the opinion that interviewing well is the single most important thing you can have going for you during OCI (within reason, and except maybe law review). You'll just have to hope that you click with an interviewer, and they chalk your "badness" up to nervousness or something.

There are certainly plenty of very awkward people in law firms, so it does happen. Maybe Wachtell?

I was going to say "none of them" and roll my eyes. But... this is relatively close to true.

OTOH, S&C (at least at my school) is notorious for somewhat stressful / grilling interviews. Not true blue stress interviews, but also not the chit chat many other firms do during the screening phase.
