I've got one so far. I might end up as high as 3, but the rest were disasters.Anonymous User wrote:Any callbacks?

I didn't have any disasters, but sometimes I could tell that people may have just come to say they went to a diversity fair.

That sounds a lot like one of the interviews I had.rad law wrote:I didn't have any disasters, but sometimes I could tell that people may have just come to say they went to a diversity fair.

Do you think the timetable for callbacks for large firms will be shorter than the regional firms? I only interviewed with SE regional firms (although some were 300-400 attorneys, so still fairly large), and I got the same response every time: "This is our first diversity fair stop, so we will not be extending callbacks till the end of August." I saw that Troutman has already extended callbacks, so that led to a moment of panic/self doubt. Im guessing there is no clear answer to my question...

I would assume that if a firm like Troutman really thinks you are hot shit they would want to get you in the door as soon as possible before somebody else snatches you up. If the firm likes you but isn't completely sure they will probably say, "well, I liked him/her, but let's see what happens with our OCIs before we make any decisions about a callback."moandersen wrote:Do you think the timetable for callbacks for large firms will be shorter than the regional firms? Other firms may just wait until all of their recruiting stops to make decisions even if they interview somebody they are really high on early in the process.

My interview with King and Spalding was a complete joke. It seemed that they were just there for the marketing value of saying they attended a diversity fair.Anonymous User wrote:Any callbacks for Bryan Cave or King and Spalding Atlanta?
Other Southeast firms told me it would be 2-3 weeks before they make decisions. God i hope i dont go 0-10

Since we're spilling it all here, I also got that feeling with some firms.
One that starts with "S".
Also have two callbacks from this, so I think some firms are starting to show movement.

Finally got a callback today with DLA in ATL.
UT/Vandy
not going to disclose more since I'd easily be outed.
