Law Review or Amazing Job Experience

Chicago 1L Here. My law review write on is due in 7 days. I have skimmed the packet but haven't done much else. I got an A on my Winter memo with only two days of real work, so I think I might be able to pull it off it I started now. But, these types of things are never a sure thing, especially at Chicago.
My grades are anywhere between a little above the median and top 15%. I think a journal would be fun, but I really just want a job.
I am currently SAing at a top firm and the Associates/Partner are swinging some pretty cool stuff my way because of some technical experience I have (actual client contact, getting to compose an operating agreement solo and other documents agreements, etc.)
To write on to law review I would pretty much have to give up the sick experiences I am having and check into extreme mediocrity mode. This might not be a good idea because I am splitting and the partner will be leaving at the end of next week, so this is my final chance to make a good impression and continue to get fed meaningful work.
So what is more valuable to me? A fleeting shot at law review, or gaining meaningful summer experience?
