Any Canadians able to answer this question?

If you pass the Bar somewhere in the U.S., say NY, Illinois, Michigan etc, are you eligible to write the Bar in Ontario? If so, how prepared for the Ontario Bar will you be? Thanks for the help.

My understanding is that you are eligible to write the bar in Ontario but need to first get something called an "NCA recommendation" which requires a certain level of competency in Canadian law. Still sorting the process out myself... check here for more info:

lawstudents.ca may be of help. You would still need to complete articling (internship), I believe.
