rising 2L. Median grades. t50 school.

basically, I know the partners at a law firm in Latin America. Most of their clients are from the US that need work done in that country. they are small, maybe 10 lawyers. because of their size, I guess, they do not have a US office. I am considering asking them if there is any way I could be employed by them in the US. that way, basically, they could offer their clients US based legal representation and then I get employment. obviously I would not expect BigLaw salary, but if I am handling most of the US representation (with their guidance, of course) I expect there could be a high amount of upward potential. Especially if do a good job and they find it successful. plus, if there is something that I can't handle then I could find Of Counsel to assist. thoughts?

Actually, it's probably working the other way: the Latin American firm is being fed work from US biglaw firms whose clients need local counsel for something.
