My law school told me that I can choose 2 1L courses that I don't have to take (I’m a transferred llm). Meaning that I only have to take 1 among Tort, Contract and Property (I’ve already picked Civil Procedure, Criminal and Con law). Could anyone tell me which one of the three is the most (or least) useful for a transactional lawyer (likely in M&A or finance)? Thanks!

Contract probably, but it's a little like asking which course is most important for a surgeon: French, Geography or Algebra.
