Phone call from chambers about clerkship application

I sent in my non-OSCAR clerkship applications last week. I received a phone call yesterday from a circuit judge's career law clerk asking me if my writing sample was self-edited. It is, so I said yes.

My question: Should I take this as a positive sign that my application is being strongly considered? Or is it likely that all applicants are called asked that question?

It's very unlikely they called every applicant to ask this question.

It means your resume got pulled out of the giant stack. Beyond that, probably nothing reliable.
