federal judicial internship background check?

does anyone have any experience with undergoing a background check or filling out any forms for an internship at a federal court? how extensive is it? thanks.

Hi,
I've worked at the Circuit Courts (USCA) for several years now for an internship. They fingerprint you, but unless anything significant (aka felony where you've been fingerprinted) shows up, you're fine. They also have never drug tested me.
