Top Law Schools

I have been lucky enough to receive a 0L summer diversity internship at a V50 in a major market. Many of the people in the program get offers to return as 1Ls but it varies by firm and Im not yet sure if my firm will be among those making offers. Problem is, I (obviously) have little experience with BigLaw interviews right now and really dont know what my major takeaways from this summer should be. My main purpose in asking this question is to get an idea of what would be useful to note and possibly use to help me in the 1L interview process (and 2L process going forward).

For context: I will be attending one of HYS in the fall and my only current work experience is multiple 4 month internships in Finance(Corporate In-house;not banking)/Consulting type positions.

Any advice from people who have been through the hiring process as either 1L or 2Ls would be extremely helpful.

Uh, yeah....

A minority candidate from HYS with finance experience can basically walk into an interview, bat the interviewer's coffee out of their hand, and grind their genitals in their now coffee-soaked face and still get an offer.

Try not to be a social mutant, try to learn something, and you'll be good. Legal interviews are about 1) your pedigree and grades 2) not being a weirdo. That's pretty much it.
