What kind of job is this?

Have no aspirations to do something like this, but I'm curious:
In revealing additional details about planning for the mission, senior officials also said that two teams of specialists were on standby: One to bury Bin Laden if he was killed, and a second composed of lawyers, interrogators and translators in case he was captured alive.

DoJ, I'd think. Specifically National Security Division. Maybe military, DoD guys, though.

Issues on capture:

1) What JDX('s)
2) Status of Bin Laden
3) Int'l agreements on extradition/rendition
4) A whole 'nother clusterfuck of issues...not a whole lot of case law on this one.

It's better to avoid all the law and go with the nice policy argument: guy who flaunts his (a) history of murdering and (b) ability to murder Americans --> dead guy who used to flaunt his (a) history of murdering and (b) ability to murder Americans.

This. I'd imagine that CIA lawyers are involved as well -- the agency did have lead control of the operation, after all -- to ensure that potential interrogations are conducted lawfully, amongst other things.

To put on paper to at least act like there was maybe at least a 1 in a million chance that the orders weren't to kill, no matter what......
