Top Law Schools

Does anyone else think diploma frame prices are a little outrageous? All the ones I've seen are in the $150 range. Has anyone found a cost-effective alternative? Also, is it worth it to take your diploma to a frame shop, or is an off-the-shelf frame fine? Finally, does anyone have an opinion on double frames? I'm looking to frame both my undergraduate and law school diplomas. Thanks!

Go to a craft store like Michael's or even Walmart. You shouldn't be paying much more than $20-30 a pop for nice frames. The diplomas sold in the graduation stuff are a giant ripoff.

Who cares? And lol at undergrad diploma. I'm going to keep mine in a drawer somewhere.

I hate to say it... but I actually am framing my UG degree. Took forever to get it. So I am more proud, I think.

I have no idea where my UG diploma even is.

Nah. I want to get the really nice ones made specifically for degrees; to me, it makes a difference. It's going to be in my office for the next few decades so I might as well get the best.

As far a UG degrees, every other office at my firm has a UG degree on the wall next to a JD.

I think you missed the point. Craft stores have the nice frames made specifically for diplomas. I have a mahogany one that was $30 or so. You're just not paying the overhead to have someone else frame it, or the ridiculous markup by companies that advertise at graduation. You can get very nice frames if you shop around, and for much less than $300-500 for three of em'. It really is not difficult at all to frame something.
