Public Interest internship as a 0L?

How helpful would it be to do an internship this Spring/Summer at Bet Tzedek as a 0L?
If it would be, what should I try to get out of this internship other than leaving a very good impression and making contacts?

If you want to do PI, it would be a way to show your commitment to PI, which is important to future employers (beginning as early as 1L internships).
If you don't want to do PI it doesn't matter at all.

In terms of your future employment, those two things are likely all you can get out of it.
