hey all,
ive recently obtained a job working a unpaid position at a small wills trusts and estate firm this summer. I want to go into the jag corp and think it might be a good idea to do something else thats a little more public interest-y. i was thinking of sending my information to a local legal aid society. How do employers feel about you doing two different things your 1l summer?

In all honesty, depending on where you're located, people probably "thought of sending their information" to Legal Aid about 4 months ago. If you're in a remote area, maybe you have a better shot.

What do you want people to say here? Employers won't dislike that you worked two jobs. They'll assume both were part-time, and that you basically worked the same amount of time as someone with one full-time job. It's not some awesome resume line, if that's what you're asking. Do it if you want, but if you're asking if two part-time gigs (one at a small tne firm, the other volunteering at a legal aid center) is going to make 2L recruiting a sure thing: no.
