Top Law Schools

Situation:

One of bigger cities (Not NYC, LA or Chicago). Have offers from several of the DA's for their trial division, 12 weeks unpaid. Will get far better experience and actually do trials. Also likely have a $2500 offer for 6 weeks from another DA which is biggest one in the metro area. Will not get the trial experience and will be limited to maybe a bond hearing. Has reputation for being disorganized and not putting much emphasis on its internship program. Also it is in middle of summer so split summer is not possible. Can include an RA position in addition to the 6 weeks. Pretty low on cash but can live off credit cards until loans come in. Thoughts?

edit- plan to work in DA office or pay my dues at a solicitor general's office after graduation

you can trade in that experience for higher chances at employment later on. not to mention connections and skills developed through that 12 week experience.

def get the better experience, seek outside funding if at all possible

Does your school have a summer public interest funding program? Usually you can get like a $5k grant for a full time public interest gig.
