I applied to the AG and haven't heard anything yet.

I applied to both of these fairly early (December) and have heard nothing from either. I followed up after grades (good grades at a T-10) and like a month after that and still have heard nothing. I recently got a job that I took, so this is all moot for me, but good luck OP.

+1. Also applied to Cook County State's Attorney's Office. Nothing.

They probably waited until all their applications were in before looking at them.

Yeah, AG deadline just passed, I assume people will be starting to hear back soon.

Nice, congrats. Do you know if they are willing to allow a split summer? I tend to think AG offices typically don't, but that would be kinda nice.

I got an offer from the AG earlier this week. A classmate has also accepted a position at the law dept but I'm not sure when she heard back from them.

I don't know, I'm working there the whole summer.

Correction: was rejected from a PI org in Chicago, not the Law Dept. (RC fail by roommate)

Same deal for everyone who applied for this summer? Nobody's heard anything?

For the City of Chicago Law Dept, my OCS office told me to not expect them to start the hiring process until March. They're deadline is Mar. 1 so I'm pretty sure they wait until all the apps are in. Good luck everyone

Just as a data point, last year, I got an offer to interview with the Chicago Dep't of Law on February 21.

Anybody get a phone interview or anything with the city yet?

Also applied to the Law Department. Are their summer positions fairly hard to get? I submitted my app. just before Mar. 1 and have heard nothing yet.

Got an offer from the Department of Law first or second week of February. Applied late January. Rather not say which office.

Anybody hear back from the Law Department?
